Why is it necessary to use resin restorations timber epoxy gel coat?
Like all soft wood windows and doors after a few years the timber starts to split and rot, what we offer is a resin gel coat that is applied to the timber after the paint has been burnt off .Sometimes the windows need a structural stiffening due to ware and tear on the windows , do not rip your windows out and buy new ones as we can apply the gel coat with our resin gel .
The gel coat has 3 coats and sinks into the timber making the timber harder and leaving a 2 mm thick coat ensuring a superior protection against decay also making the soft wood stronger than hardwood , making your old soft wood windows last a lifetime. We can also protect your new sortwood windows before paint is applied to insure lifetime protection against any rot or decay. Gel coat is not uv protected so you need to use weathershield 5 year protection paints and re paint your windows every 5 to 6 years .
